Porcelain Veneers after treatment

Information:

Dental veneers are a non- invasive method to reshape and whiten teeth to give you the perfect smile you desire. There is very little tooth reduction for veneers. Veneers can “respace” teeth to close gaps, make teeth longer or shorter, whiter and more esthetic.

We usually numb for the process so you are perfectly comfortable. Dr vaughn, our laser expert, is also very concerned about what is called the “gingival contour” of your veneers. Have you ever seen a pretty smile but the teeth, even though they have a nice smile, seen unever, or the teeth seem larger or smaller than they are supposed to be. This is frequently caused by the gums being overgrown.

When doing any esthetic work, our specialty is to look at not just the teeth, but your smile and your face. It all works together to insure that the result you get is what you expect and more.

We take multiple pictures of your face and teeth to discuss with you what your expectations are and how we can help.

Veneers can give you a lifetime of a beautiful smile.

Porcelain Veneers – Canton, MS

If your teeth are stained, misshapen, or misaligned, porcelain veneers may be just what you need to give you the smile you want and deserve. In dentistry, a veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that mimics the appearance of natural teeth.

Before and After – Porcelain Veneers

Versatility of Porcelain Veneers

Veneers can correct and perfect the following characteristics of your teeth:

Color — Red wine, coffee, mustard, smoking, and even aging can dull, yellow, or stain our natural teeth. Veneers can improve the color of your teeth and are available in shades ranging from natural to bright white. Bonus: veneers don’t stain like natural tooth enamel.
Size & Shape — If your teeth are worn down from grinding, or maybe not shaped the way you’d like them to be, veneers can help correct those imperfections.
Alignment & Spacing — Do you have small gaps between your teeth? Are they more crooked that you’d like them to be? Veneers just might be the answer you need.

Creating a New Smile with Porcelain Veneers

In order for you to get exactly what you want from your Porcelain Veneers, we need to know exactly what you you’re looking for. At your next appointment, bring pictures of what your ideal smile might be. Once we understand your goals, we can come up with a treatment plan that will give you reason to smile. Your treatment will require one visit to our office to prepare your teeth, and a second visit to cement the veneers to the surface of your teeth.

Caring for Your Veneers

Care for your veneers by brushing and flossing every day and visiting Dental Solutions of Mississippi for regular checkups. To avoid causing damage to your veneers, stay away from hard foods (which are bad for your natural teeth, as well). If you grind or clench your teeth at night, consider using a night guard to protect your veneers and your investment.
